The thousands of visitors who attend this year’s Cheshire County Show will be able to take to the sky thanks to a brand new attraction – Sky Swing!
The amazing swing which has recently returned from Dubai, takes some 14 hours to construct and is the UK’s tallest portable swing attraction reaching a height of 200 feet, which will be provide stunning views across the whole of the showground.
Nigel Evans, Executive Director of the Cheshire County Show said, “Following on from the success of last year’s tremendous show, we are now working hard to ensure the 2014 show is even bigger and better.
“I am delighted that we have a number of new attractions to announce including the Sky Swing which I am sure will be a big hit for everyone as it will be good fun and at 200 feet tall will give a fantastic view of the show.
Michelle Matthews from Skyswingattraction.com added, “We can’t wait to attend this year’s Cheshire County Show as we know the Sky Swing will be a real centre piece for the event.
“We understand that people may be nervous about riding the Sky Swing but would urge them to come and have a go. It is a smooth and pleasurable experience and gives a wonderful feeling of weightlessness not to mention spectacular views.”
The show will again include livestock, horses, poultry, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigeons, dogs, rare breeds, vintage machinery WI, Rural Life, Booths Cheese, and Wine. With over 700 Trade Stands, the show also includes a Countryside Experience area, a Play Zone, two large Roberts Bakery Food Halls of local and regional producers and a Roberts Bakery Food Live Theatre to name just a few.
