40 employees from Jaguar Land Rover’s Halewood plant received certificates in a People Recognition event after completing an NVQ in Engineering in Technical Support qualification through West Cheshire College and specialist training partner, KZN.
The qualification, introduced into Jaguar Land Rover for the first time, was developed to support the car manufacturer’s pioneering automotive manufacturing digital production management system.
Ken Jones, Production Systems Manager at Jaguar Land Rover, said: “The qualification was completed by Senior Managers, Supervisors, Group Leaders and members of the Maintenance Team and the training enables our employees to use our new system efficiently.”
