NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is proud to support the third annual Cheshire Independent Living Awareness Day (CILAD), in collaboration with the Northwich Festival.
Hosted by Cheshire Centre for Independent Living (CCIL), CILAD aims to raise awareness of the range of advice, assistance and facilities that are available to help disabled people to live independently.
As part of the day, the CCG are holding an information and engagement stall to promote their initiative ‘Let’s talk about your health’. They are encouraging patients and members of the public to come and visit their stall, share their health stories, and find out what services are available to them in the local area. There will be the opportunity for members of the public to get involved with local health forums and help influence local health services.
The CCG’s Chief Executive Simon Whitehouse said: “Following the success of previous years, the CCG is delighted to be part of Cheshire Independent Living Awareness Day.
“This is a great opportunity for the CCG to meet with patients and members of the public and share its healthcare and operational plans for the local area.
“If you would like to find out more about what healthcare services are available to you, a family member or friend, please come along and speak with one of our friendly team.”
Cheshire Independent Living Awareness Day will take place on Friday 22 August, 11:00 – 15:30, at Northwich Festival, Moss Farm Leisure Complex, Northwich.
