A man has been sent to prison after threatening staff at Macclesfield General Hospital.
William Raymond Savory, 27, was “aggressive” to hospital staff on January 13.
Savory, of The Drive, Ashford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour at Macclesfield magistrates’ court on February 2.
He was jailed for 12 weeks.
Savory is believed to have committed the offence while under the influence of drugs. The NHS trust declined to comment about the case as Savory was a patient at the hospital and its policy is never to comment on individual patients.
