The Bollington Brewing Company is celebrating the launch of its third pub, The Cask Tavern, on Park Lane in Poynton.
Following on from the Vale Inn in Bollington and The Park Tavern in Macclesfield, The Cask Tavern will serve a variety of mainly locally brewed beers, including six Bollington beers, two real ciders, draught Prosecco and the craft-brewed English lager, Moravka, which is produced locally in High Peak to a traditional Czech recipe.
The Cask Tavern has undergone three months of refurbishment and now has a handcrafted oak bar with seating inside for about 60 customers and additional standing room, as well as comfortable tables and benches outside.
The Bollington Brewing Company brews 14 different types of beer, including the best-selling Bollington Best and their Winter Reserve Bitter, which won Gold at this year’s CAMRA ‘National Winter Ales Festival’ in Manchester.
