The Voice UK will be live on BBC One with the quarter finals on Saturday 22 March. Presented by Emma Willis and Marvin Humes, this will be the first of three live shows that will culminate in the glittering final where one act will be crowned the winner of The Voice UK 2014.After the Blind Auditions, each of the Coaches – Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson and will.i.am – had 12 acts on their teams. After the Battles this was whittled down to seven acts each, and after the Knockout Weekend this was reduced to three acts on each team. These 12 acts made it through to the quarter finals.
The three live shows will be the first chance for viewers at home to decide who remains in the competition and who goes home each week. They will feature live performances from all the artists, performances from global superstars, group songs with the Coaches and their acts, plus an extra special group song from all four Coaches.
The quarter finals will see all 12 artists performing for the public and one person from each team will leave The Voice. The remaining eight artists will continue on to the live semi finals the following weekend which will see all eight perform again for the public who will decide which act from each team will leave The Voice.
The remaining four acts will go on to the following weekend’s final where they perform for the very last time before the public decide who will be crowned the overall winner and champion of The Voice UK 2014.
