Wilmslow-based coffee franchise, Café2U, has won a prestigious national award by achieving an ‘excellent’ rating in the annual ‘Beverage Standards Awards.’ The BSA accreditation is a guarantee of high standards for drinks, service and value for money.
Mick Sutcliffe, franchisee of Café2U has been recognised for his coffee making skills and commitment to exceptional customer service.
Mick sells a variety of hot beverages from the back of his ‘Supreme Bean Machine’ van and can be found outside Wilmslow train station every weekday morning between 6.30 and 8.00am, before travelling around office blocks, industrial estates and business parks in Wilmslow, Holmes Chapel and Middlewich.
The former charity manager describes why he made the move to Café2U: “I was made redundant about two years ago, so I wanted to turn my hand to something a bit different. The UK retail coffee market is huge and broke the £1 billion mark for the first time last year. Café2U is a great service and very convenient for commuters heading to work or business premises that may be situated away from town centre facilities.”
Mick also delivers the service at Wilmslow Football Academy, which takes places at Ashdene School on Saturday mornings. Erik Garner from WFA said: “Mick always provides great coffee and excellent, reliable service. It adds to the ambience of Saturday mornings for parents while their kids are brushing up on their football skills.”
